Steve Daines is a Montana businessman and former Procter & Gamble executive who entered politics as a Tea Party-aligned congressman in 2012 before winning the Senate seat in 2014. He won re-election in 2020 against Governor Steve Bullock, 55–45%, in a state that voted for Trump by 16 points.
