Spencer Cox is Utah's governor and one of the most prominent voices for civility and bipartisanship within the Republican Party. A farmer, lawyer, and former Lt. Governor, he made national headlines during the 2020 campaign when he and his Democratic opponent filmed a bipartisan ad pledging to run a respectful race. He has focused on teen mental health, water conservation for the Great Salt Lake, and housing affordability. He survived a primary challenge from Utah's right wing in 2024.
