Mark Harris represents North Carolina's 8th congressional district in the U.S. House. Elected in 2024, he is a Baptist pastor and previously won the 2018 race in the old 9th district before the state Board of Elections refused to certify the result amid a ballot-fraud investigation involving a campaign operative and ordered a new election.
