Jim Risch represents Idaho in the U.S. Senate, where he has served since 2009. He chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in the 119th Congress, briefly served as Governor of Idaho in 2006–2007 after Dirk Kempthorne resigned, and previously served as Lieutenant Governor of Idaho and in the Idaho Senate.
