Jake Ellzey represents Texas's 6th congressional district in the U.S. House. He won a 2021 special election to succeed the late Representative Ron Wright, having defeated Wright's widow in a runoff; he is a retired U.S. Navy fighter pilot with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives.
