John Holtz is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Wyoming in 2026 and appears on the August 18 Republican primary ballot. A Laramie resident, he previously ran in the Wyoming Republican Senate primaries in 2018, 2020, and 2024. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later worked in the electro-optical and space division of Hughes Aircraft Company, where he worked on developing a new fire control system for the U.S. Army's M60A3 main battle tank. He is an attorney and a former Wyoming judge.
