Luis Daniel Muñoz is a physician and 2026 Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in Rhode Island. He earned a bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College in 2008 and an M.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2014, and grew up in Central Falls. He previously ran for Governor of Rhode Island in 2018 as an independent and in the 2022 Democratic primary. He has served on the State of Rhode Island COVID-19 Equity Council.
