Margot Dupre is a business owner who studied business administration and management at the University of South Florida. She filed as a Republican candidate for the 2026 U.S. Senate election in North Carolina and was disqualified from the March 3, 2026 Republican primary on residency grounds by the North Carolina State Board of Elections, though her name remained on the ballot; she received 14,886 votes (2.4%).
