David W. Hann is a Republican who filed as a candidate for the U.S. Senate from Minnesota in the 2026 election. He served seven terms in the Minnesota State Senate from 2003 to 2017, including as minority leader in his final two terms, and chaired the Republican Party of Minnesota from 2021 to 2024. Earlier, he served on the Eden Prairie School Board and worked as director of forecasting and logistics for Eden Prairie-based Deli Express.
