Randall Arrington, also known as Randy, was a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat from Louisiana in the 2026 election cycle and did not appear on the May 16, 2026 primary ballot after withdrawing. A retired U.S. Navy aviator who also served as a Department of Homeland Security interdiction pilot, he earned a bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of New Orleans. He taught political science as an adjunct professor at several universities, including UCLA, UCSD, USD, LSU, Tulane, and UNO, and ran for Louisiana's 1st Congressional District in 2024.
