Randall Arrington, also known as Randy, is a Republican from Louisiana who ran for the U.S. Senate in the 2026 election; he did not appear on the May 16, 2026 Republican primary ballot. A retired U.S. Navy Naval Aviator (Commander, 1976-1997), he also worked as a federal law enforcement interdiction pilot with the Department of Homeland Security and later ran for Louisiana's 1st Congressional District in 2024 and 2026. He holds a bachelor's degree from UCLA and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of New Orleans (1999), and has served as an adjunct professor at several universities.
