Michael Faris is a Kentucky businessman and U.S. Air Force veteran who runs a helicopter maintenance business in Hardin County and founded the Kentucky-based company PRIMEHAWX, which specializes in Blackhawk helicopter maintenance services and training. An Elizabethtown native, he served as a helicopter mechanic in the Air Force before building a career in aviation maintenance. He was a candidate in the 2026 Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Mitch McConnell, finishing with 2.4 percent of the vote in the May 19, 2026 primary.
