Pamela Stevenson is an attorney and retired U.S. Air Force Colonel who served as a Judge Advocate General officer. A Democrat, she has represented District 43 in the Kentucky House of Representatives since 2021 and serves as the chamber's House Minority Floor Leader. In February 2025 she entered the 2026 Democratic primary for Kentucky's open U.S. Senate seat—the first Democrat to do so after Senator Mitch McConnell announced his retirement—and lost the nomination to Charles Booker. She previously ran for Kentucky Attorney General in 2023.
