Morgan W. W. Murphy is a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Alabama's 2026 election, running for the open seat vacated by Senator Tommy Tuberville. A captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Murphy previously served as national security advisor to Senator Tuberville, as press secretary to former Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, and as a senior public diplomacy adviser to the President's Special Envoy to Ukraine. Earlier in his career he worked as a writer and editor for Southern Living, Forbes, and other publications.
