Mac Stevens is a Republican who ran for the U.S. Senate seat in Nebraska in both 2024 and 2026, losing the 2024 race to Dan Osborn-independent Pete Ricketts in the 2026 Republican primary with 2.6% of the vote. He is a fourth-generation Nebraska agricultural producer and consulting nutritionist who owns Stevens Livestock Consulting, and he holds degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture at Curtis.
