Maura C. Sullivan is a Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War and former Obama administration official running for the Democratic nomination in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District in 2026. She served as Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Public and Intergovernmental Affairs and as Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs. Sullivan previously ran for the same seat in 2018, finishing second in the Democratic primary to Chris Pappas. She holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. and M.P.A. from Harvard.
