Scott Wiener is a Democratic member of the California State Senate representing the 11th district, which covers San Francisco and parts of San Mateo County, a seat he has held since 2016. Before that, he served on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors representing the 8th district from 2011 to 2016. He previously worked as a deputy city attorney in San Francisco and earned a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
