Leo Martínez Nucete is a Democrat running for the U.S. House in Virginia's 11th Congressional District in 2026. An international lawyer who graduated from Harvard Law School and Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs, he served as a member of Congress in Venezuela before immigrating to the United States about 20 years ago after facing persecution for his opposition to the country's authoritarian government.
