Ata-Ul-Salaam Bhatti, commonly known as Salaam Bhatti, is an American public-interest attorney running as the Democratic challenger for Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the 2026 election. Born in 1986 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he earned a bachelor's degree from Albright College and a law degree from Touro Law Center.
