David Harris is a retired U.S. Air Force major general and Republican who ran for the U.S. House in Utah's 3rd Congressional District in 2026. According to his campaign, he was commissioned through Air Force ROTC at Brigham Young University in 1986, served as an Electronic Warfare Officer and experimental flight test weapons systems officer in the B-1B bomber, and was among the first U.S. Airmen to see combat in Operation Desert Storm. Ballotpedia reports he did not appear on the June 23, 2026 Republican primary ballot.
