Daniel Betts is a Texas attorney and business owner who was a Republican candidate for U.S. House in Texas' 21st Congressional District in the 2026 election. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago (2007) and a law degree from the University of Texas (2010), and has been affiliated with the Federalist Society and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He lost the March 3, 2026 Republican primary for the seat, and previously ran as the 2024 Republican nominee for Travis County District Attorney, losing to incumbent José Garza.
