Jonathan Thorp is an independent candidate for the U.S. House in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District in 2026. He served in the U.S. Army from 1999 to 2009, including as a combat pilot in Afghanistan, and later flew for the Metro Nashville Police. He holds a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2009) and a graduate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy (2013), and works as an air ambulance pilot.
