Jon Henry (Republican) is running for the U.S. House in Tennessee's 6th Congressional District in 2026. He was born in Carthage, Tennessee, graduated from Smith County High School, and served 27 years in the United States Marine Corps (1990-2017) before retiring at the rank of Sergeant Major. He holds graduate degrees from Troy University (2012) and Marine Corps University, and completed a Ph.D. at Johnson University in 2025. He is now a teacher, and his campaign is based in Carthage.
