William V. "Van" Hilleary (born 1959) is the Republican candidate for U.S. House in Tennessee's 6th Congressional District in 2026, with a primary scheduled for August 6, 2026. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee and a law degree from Samford University, then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1982 to 1995 (active duty 1982–1984, reserve 1984–1995). He previously represented Tennessee's 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House from 1995 to 2003, worked as a business executive and private-practice attorney, and served as chief of staff to U.S. Rep. John Rose.
