Robert 'Bob' Harvie is the Democratic nominee for U.S. House in Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District, having won the May 19, 2026 Democratic primary. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, Bucks County, he taught high school social studies for 26 years, including 20 years as a teacher and Social Studies Department chair at Bucks County Technical High School. He served on the Falls Township Planning Commission and then on the Falls Township Board of Supervisors from 2003, chairing the board for over a decade. He was elected to the Bucks County Board of Commissioners in 2019, an election that gave the board its first Democratic majority in nearly 40 years.
