Janice C. Beckett is a lifelong Ohioan who ran as a Democratic candidate for U.S. House in Ohio's 10th Congressional District in 2026. Born and raised in Vandalia, she earned a bachelor's degree in music and political science from Ohio Northern University in 1982 and a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1985.
