Ralph Ambrosio is the Republican and Conservative Party candidate for New York's 20th Congressional District in 2026, challenging incumbent Paul Tonko. Born in Hudson and raised in Chatham, NY, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1976 and worked for the New York State Police from 1977 to 1989 while obtaining his law degree. He later served as an Assistant District Attorney in Greene and Columbia Counties, a public defender, and an assistant attorney general under Dennis Vacco, and has been a Delmar, NY resident since 1985.
