John Sullivan is a former FBI Intelligence Analyst with nearly two decades of service who ran as the Democratic candidate for U.S. House in New York's 17th Congressional District in 2026. He rose into FBI leadership positions tracking foreign adversaries, terrorists, drug cartels, and human traffickers, serving presidents of both parties. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and is now cancer-free. His principal campaign committee was based in Piermont, NY, in the Hudson Valley.
