Jami Floyd is an attorney and former broadcast journalist who ran as a Democrat for New York's 12th Congressional District in 2026 before suspending her campaign. Her campaign website states she clerked for a judge, practiced law, and served as a Fellow in the Clinton White House. She later reported for MSNBC, WNYC, and ABC News, and hosted All Things Considered on WNYC. She also served on Manhattan Community Board 7, where she oversaw the Public Safety Task Force.
