Brad Lander (Democratic, Working Families) is the Democratic nominee for U.S. House in New York's 10th Congressional District (Lower Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn) after defeating Rep. Daniel Goldman in the June 23, 2026 Democratic primary. He served as the 45th New York City Comptroller from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2025. Before that, he represented Brooklyn's 39th Council District in the New York City Council from 2010 to 2021, and directed the Pratt Center for Community Development and the Fifth Avenue Committee. He holds a BA from the University of Chicago, an MSc from University College London, and an MS in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute.
