Tera Anderson is a second-generation Nevadan who worked in land development, construction, and community design for over 20 years. She ran unsuccessfully for Mayor of Las Vegas in 2024 and for the Republican nomination for U.S. House in Nevada's 3rd Congressional District in 2026, where she finished second in the June 9 Republican primary. Her education includes a bachelor's in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Puget Sound, an Executive MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Arizona State University. She has served as President of the City of Las Vegas Neighborhood Association and as a board trustee for the CASA Foundation and the Public Education Foundation.
