Squire Servance, a Democrat from Pennington, ran for the U.S. House in New Jersey's 12th Congressional District in 2026 and lost the June 2 Democratic primary. He is a patent and life-sciences attorney who holds positions at a technology and science-focused law firm and at a life-sciences firm he founded, and he heads Syridex, a digital health-care company focused on health-care access inequities. He is a Rutgers University alum and member of the Rutgers Board of Trustees, and previously ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Winslow Township in 2011.
