Zach Beecher is a Democrat who ran in the February 5, 2026 special Democratic primary for New Jersey's 11th Congressional District, finishing with 1.9% of the vote. A New Jersey native, he served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger-qualified paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne and deployed to Iraq in 2016, where he earned a Bronze Star. He has worked in the private sector on technology and innovation projects, and as of his candidacy was a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Morristown.
