Evan Turnage is a Jackson, Mississippi attorney and antitrust lawyer who ran as a Democrat for the U.S. House in Mississippi's 2nd Congressional District in 2026. He graduated from Murrah High School, Morehouse College (2014), and Yale Law School (2017), and previously worked as an antitrust lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis before serving as senior counsel to Sen. Elizabeth Warren and chief counsel to Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer. He lost the March 10, 2026 Democratic primary to incumbent Rep. Bennie Thompson.
