Eric Pratt is a Minnesota Republican who has served in the Minnesota State Senate since 2013, currently representing District 54 (after previously holding the 55th district from 2013 to 2023). A graduate of Prior Lake High School, he holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.B.A. in finance from the University of St. Thomas. Before entering politics, he worked in banking and financial services, including roles at Target and U.S. Bank, and he served on the Prior Lake-Savage School Board from 2000 to 2012, including as its chair. He is a candidate for the U.S. House in Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District in 2026.
