Tim Greimel is a member of the Democratic Party and a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Michigan's 10th Congressional District in 2026. He previously served as Mayor of Pontiac, Michigan from 2022 to 2026. Before that, he represented the 29th district in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2012 to 2019, including a term as House Minority Leader from 2013 to 2017. Greimel earned his bachelor's, master's in public policy, and law degrees from the University of Michigan, and previously served on the Rochester Community School Board and the Oakland County Commission.
