Bridget Brink is a career U.S. Foreign Service officer and diplomat who served as U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine from 2022 to 2025 and as U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia from 2019 to 2022. A Michigan native who grew up in Spring Lake and Grand Rapids, she earned a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College and a master's from the London School of Economics before joining the State Department in 1996. She is running as a Democrat for Michigan's 7th Congressional District in 2026.
