Zach Dembo is a former Navy JAG officer and federal prosecutor who is the Democratic nominee for Kentucky's 6th Congressional District in 2026. He worked as an eighth-grade English teacher in the Mississippi Delta through Teach For America before attending the University of Michigan Law School. He served as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division and later as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Lexington, and was a policy advisor to Governor Andy Beshear.
