Emanuel Jones is a Georgia State Senator representing District 10, a seat he has held since 2005. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (1981) and an MBA in finance/accounting from Columbia University (1986), and has worked for IBM and in the Ford Motor Company dealer network. A Baptist deacon and business owner, he served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1980. He ran as the 2026 Democratic candidate for U.S. House in Georgia's 13th Congressional District and lost the Democratic primary on May 19, 2026.
