Pia Dandiya is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House in Florida's 22nd Congressional District in 2026, with the Democratic primary scheduled for August 18, 2026. A first-generation American and Palm Beach Gardens resident, she is a former high school principal and Teach for America corps member who founded a high-performing high school in Harlem. Dandiya graduated from Harvard and Boston University and was selected as a White House Fellow, serving on the White House Domestic Policy Council and at the U.S. Department of Education. Since January 2022 she has led public sector partnerships at Apple, and she was appointed by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker to the state's P-20 Council. The 2026 race is her first campaign for elected office.
