Kelly Kirschner is a third-generation Floridian running as a Democrat for the U.S. House in Florida's 16th Congressional District in 2026. A Georgetown University graduate, he joined the Peace Corps in 1999 and served in Guatemala, then returned to Florida where he served as a Sarasota city commissioner and mayor. He later worked as Vice President at Eckerd College and led UnidosNow, a non-profit that has helped more than 1,000 first-generation students earn debt-free admission to top universities.
