Timothy Brandt Robinson is a Pinellas County history teacher who filed paperwork on November 26, 2025 to run as a Democrat in Florida's 13th Congressional District, seeking the nomination to challenge incumbent Anna Paulina Luna. He has taught social studies and African American history for more than two decades and received the Florida Education Association's Human and Civil Rights Leadership Award the year after his 2021 school board appearance. He also served on the Florida African American History Task Force and chairs the Pinellas Classroom Teachers Association's Human and Civil Rights Committee.
