Bale Dalton is a Democratic candidate running for the U.S. House in Florida's 7th Congressional District in 2026. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate and Navy Captain, he served 23 years in the Navy and Navy Reserve (13 on active duty) as a helicopter pilot flying medevac and combat missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, the Horn of Africa, and the Pacific. After active duty he worked at the State Department and on the staff of Senator Bill Nelson, later returned to duty as commanding officer of a Navy special operations support squadron, and most recently served as Chief of Staff at NASA.
