Chris Shea of Cheshire, Connecticut, is a Republican candidate in the 2026 primary for the U.S. House in Connecticut's 5th Congressional District. His campaign website describes him as a retired U.S. Navy Warrant Officer who began his Navy career in 1991 as a hospital corpsman and later completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL and Special Forces Medic training, with assignments including SEAL Team 8, SEAL Team 18, the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, and the Pentagon.
