Marni von Wilpert is an American attorney and member of the San Diego City Council representing District 5, a seat she has held since December 2020. A Democrat, she is a candidate for California's 48th Congressional District in the 2026 election. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and previously served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Botswana and as a Deputy City Attorney in the San Diego City Attorney's Office from 2018 to 2020.
