Brandon Riker ran as a Democrat for California's 48th Congressional District in 2026 and lost in the June 2, 2026 primary. A fourth-generation Californian, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Washington College and earned a master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
