Eric Jones is a Democratic candidate for California's 4th congressional district in the 2026 election, living in Napa. A former venture capitalist, he previously worked as a partner at Dragoneer Investment Group and is a first-generation Yale University graduate. He co-founded the American Dream Institute, a civic engagement nonprofit, and with his wife established the Rachel and Eric Jones Foundation, focused on Northern California. He is challenging longtime Democratic incumbent Mike Thompson in the primary.
