Brandon Joseph Herrera, also known as The AK Guy, is an American YouTuber and firearms manufacturer running as the Republican nominee for U.S. House in Texas's 23rd Congressional District in 2026. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in 1995, he attended Campbell University to study pre-law before leaving to start a firearms manufacturing business, and he hosts a YouTube channel focused on firearms that launched in 2014. He first ran for the same seat in 2024, losing a Republican primary runoff to incumbent Tony Gonzales by roughly 354 votes, and won the 2026 Republican primary after Gonzales suspended his campaign.
