M. Zuhdi Jasser is the Republican candidate for Arizona's 4th Congressional District in 2026, having advanced from the Republican primary on July 21 to face incumbent Democrat Greg Stanton in the November 3 general election. A physician specializing in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology in Phoenix, he served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy from 1993 to 1999, including as staff internist in the Office of the Attending Physician of the U.S. Congress. He earned a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and an M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1992, and in 2003 he founded the Phoenix-based nonprofit American Islamic Forum for Democracy.
