Robert Menendez Jr. is a lawyer and Democratic U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 8th congressional district, first elected in 2022 and running for re-election in 2026. He earned a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School, then worked as counsel at the law firm Lowenstein Sandler. He served as a commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from 2021 to 2023.
